Hello, I'm Eva and this is my journey.

Beginning

I'm a tattoo artist who's always on a journey of self-discovery. And it's not just limited to tattoos, but my whole life.

Growing up, I was a total believer in fairy tales. I'm sure you can relate! As a kid, we're so honest with ourselves and expect the best. We have an innocent trust in the world and everything around us. But as we get older, reality kicks in, and we start to lose ourselves. Life isn't all sunshine and rainbows, and we realize it's not always easy to believe in the magic of our childhood. But, trust me when I say, we've all been there.

From Tech to Art

Despite being told that fairy tales aren't real, I experienced something special after waiting a long time. Believe it or not, it's my job - tattooing - that I've fallen in love with completely! It was a bit of a fight for me since I'm an engineer by education. But when you love something, you go for it, right?

East Asian Myths are fascinating

A few years ago, I started thinking about how I could combine my love for fairy tales with my favorite job - tattooing! I've always been a fan of East Asian creativity, fascinated by mythical creatures and legends. I love watching Anime and dramas that are based on them.

Plus, Japanese fashion and interior designers are my jam. Have you watched Memoirs of a Geisha? It's one of my favorite movies! And don't even get me started on Asian food!

All of these things led me down the path of studying myths and legends from East Asia. I came across illustrations for these stories that intrigued me, and I became interested in the artists behind them. I started to dig deeper into their work, looking for inspiration.

Who inspired me?

It was then that I identified several artists that I decided to study, to understand where they got their ideas and interpretations of these legends from. I love everything about the heroes and demons of that time, the beautiful princesses and princes, the great wars, the elemental gods, and how they agreed so that people could live.
